What you'll do

Our Bubble stays are designed as an escape from the chaos and humdrum of everyday life, allowing you to recharge and reconnect with the natural environment. Sleep under a sky full of stars and watch the northern lights dance from your very own private bubble.

Our Hrosshagi location is situated in a forest close to the town of Reykholt on the route of the Golden Circle. It is just over 1 hour 20 minutes drive from Reykjavik. Here you will get a moment to enjoy the stillness and serenity of a place apart from the rest of the world.

What you'll do

This experience will take you out of your busy life and reconnect you to the nature and environment. Modern life is pushing you from next things and then again to the next thing – and you never really enjoy the stillness of a place. At our glamping location situated in a forest close to Reykholt on the Golden Circle you will get a moment to lay back, rethink and begin your new journey.

How to get there

We are at two location in South Iceland. The one you are looking at right now is the Golden Circle location. We also have a South Coast location. When you drive from Reykjavik to our Golden Circle location follow the map below. You will get more detailed driving instruction after you complete your booking.

Things to keep in mind

Cancellation policy

Standard rates: If cancelled or modified up to 5 days before arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Non-refundable rates: The total price of the reservation will be charged anytime after the reservation is made. If cancelled or modified or in case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Guest details

Up to 2 guests per bubble in 180 cm bed. Children under the age of 6 are able to share the bed with the parents. Over 6 years of age and two bubbles will be required.

There is a service house with two toilets / showers guests can use. It is centrally located so it is very short distance from each bubble – around maybe 30-50 m from each bubble.

Important

The Buubble Hotel is not a normal hotel and there is no formal reception area. There will be a welcoming host meeting you when you arrive and show you the bubble you have booked.

Please note that check-in to the bubbles is between 17:00 and 20:00 and check-out time is before 10:00 the morning after. Please respect the check-in times as the bubbles are located on a farmland and our reception hosts are only available to welcome guests between these hours. A late check-in fee of 7.500 ISK will be applied for those arriving after hours.
