A night under the open sky

Fall asleep beneath the stars, warm in a real bed.

The bubble is a clear dome set on its own among the spruce — comfortable and heated in every season, completely private, with nothing between you and the sky but the curve of the dome. Just the two of you, the forest, and the night above.

The forest is your wall.

The bubble sits in a clearing ringed by spruce on every side. The trees break the wind and weather, so even in a winter storm you're tucked into a quiet, sheltered pocket of forest — watching it all from somewhere warm.

Questions

Good to know, before you book

Can you see the northern lights from the bubble?
From roughly September to April, when the sky is dark and clear, the aurora can appear right above you through the dome — no need to leave your bed. They're a natural phenomenon, so we can't promise them on any given night, but we'll send you the night's forecast so you know your chances.
Will I be warm enough in winter?
Yes. The bubble is heated and the bed is made up warm for Icelandic nights, so you stay cosy even when it's below freezing outside.
Where is the bathroom?
There's a service house with toilets and showers a short walk from the bubble — around 30–50 metres away.
Is it really private?
Each bubble sits on its own, tucked into the forest and away from the road. The clear dome looks up at the sky, not out at anyone — and the trees screen you from the other bubbles.
How does check-in work?
There's no formal reception — a host meets you on arrival between 17:00 and 20:00. Please arrange a check-in time with us by email beforehand and keep a working phone with you.
Can we bring children or pets?
Children under 6 can share the bed with their parents; over 6 will need a second bubble.
