Stop 1 - Thingvellir National Park

Hidden between mossy fields, Brúarfoss is often called Iceland’s Blue Waterfall — and it truly is. Its icy-blue water tumbles through black lava rock, creating a quiet, almost otherworldly beauty. It’s not loud or grand… just peaceful, pure, and unforgettable.

Stop 2 - Geysir Geothermal Area

But we’re just getting warmed up. Next, we’re off to the Geysir geothermal area. Imagine standing next to a geyser right before it erupts, feeling the thrill as the water and steam shoot up into the sky. It’s Mother Nature showing off, and trust me, it’s a sight you won’t forget!

Stop 3 - Gullfoss Waterfall

Then, we’re heading to Gullfoss waterfall. This place is seriously impressive – the sheer power of the water, the deafening roar, the mist spraying your face – it’s going to take your breath away. No matter what the weather’s like, Gullfoss always steals the show.

Stop 4 - The 5 Million Star Hotel

As night falls, you’ll settle into your private bubble and you will do your second day in the bubble hotel at Ölvisholt.

Questions

Good to know, before you book

Can you see the northern lights from the bubble?
From roughly September to April, when the sky is dark and clear, the aurora can appear right above you through the dome — no need to leave your bed. They're a natural phenomenon, so we can't promise them on any given night, but we'll send you the night's forecast so you know your chances.
Will I be warm enough in winter?
Yes. The bubble is heated and the bed is made up warm for Icelandic nights, so you stay cosy even when it's below freezing outside.
Where is the bathroom?
There's a service house with toilets and showers a short walk from the bubble — around 30–50 metres away.
Is it really private?
Each bubble sits on its own, tucked into the forest and away from the road. The clear dome looks up at the sky, not out at anyone — and the trees screen you from the other bubbles.
How does check-in work?
There's no formal reception — a host meets you on arrival between 17:00 and 20:00. Please arrange a check-in time with us by email beforehand and keep a working phone with you.
Can we bring children or pets?
Children under 6 can share the bed with their parents; over 6 will need a second bubble.

Questions

Good to know, before you book

Can you see the northern lights from the bubble?
From roughly September to April, on dark clear nights, the aurora can appear straight above the dome — you watch from bed. They're a natural phenomenon, so no single night comes with a guarantee.
What about summer, when the nights stay bright?
Iceland's summer nights barely darken — instead of stars you get the long, golden light of the midnight sun. And if it rains, the sound of the drops rolling over the dome is a show of its own.
Where is the bathroom?
There's a service house with two toilets and showers a short walk from the bubble — around 30–50 metres away.
Is food included?
No — there's no breakfast service, and no food or drink for sale on the premises. The villages of Selfoss, Eyrarbakki, Stokkseyri and Hveragerði are close by, and we're happy to recommend local restaurants and markets.
